1. Information we collect
Account information: your email address, account identifier, sign-in and verification information, subscription status, and account timestamps.
Content you provide: screenshots, extracted conversation text, dating-profile images, prompts, roleplay characters and messages, preferences, and generated results.
Usage and technical information: feature counts, request timing, error information, model usage, device/browser information made available by our infrastructure, and security logs.
Billing information: Whop processes payment details. We receive membership identifiers, status changes, and payment-event information needed to provide access; we do not store complete payment-card details.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide and personalize AI features, maintain conversation history, enforce subscriptions and rate limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, communicate service information, and comply with legal obligations.
3. AI processing and service providers
Content submitted to AI features is sent to our AI provider, currently OpenRouter and the model providers routed through it, to generate requested results. Appwrite provides authentication, databases, file storage, functions, and hosting. Whop provides checkout and subscription management.
These providers process information on our behalf or as described in their own terms. Do not submit highly sensitive information or content you are not authorized to share.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information with service providers as necessary to operate the product, when you direct us to, to protect users and the service, during a business transaction, or when required by law.
5. Retention and security
We retain account data and saved content while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
We use access controls, encrypted transport, and managed infrastructure safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Settings lets you download a JSON copy of your account and stored records and request permanent deletion of your Visual Roleplay account, content, and owned uploads. The export contains structured records and file metadata; uploaded image binaries are not embedded in the JSON file.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or port personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Deleting your Visual Roleplay account does not cancel billing managed by Whop. Cancel the membership through the Whop portal separately.
7. International processing and minors
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to their legal safeguards. Visual Roleplay is intended only for adults aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent through the contact method published on visualroleplay.com.
